    I asked the waitress what on the menu is not spicy, as I cannot eat spicy foods. Her response was "I don't know." Which I found odd as it is your job to know the menu? I looked over the menu and picked a dish telling her that I would have this one as it does not list anything spicy in it. After a VERY long wait for food, we received our food by another waiter. My food had an enormous amount of jalapenos in it. I told my boyfriend to go ahead and eat, but of course we did not see our waitress for about 25+ minutes. When I finally waved her down I told her I could not eat the food, so she grabs the plate and brings the check. So needless to say, I did not get to eat dinner. I would recommend they hire a more professional and educated staff, especially due to their prices. There are some great places to eat in Winston, I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

    Great Food and even better service thanks to Mike Hoffman! Everything Came out perfect and promptly and drinks were always full. He was extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu and his recommendations for spot on. Would recommend this place to anyone especially if Mike is working as he will provide great service!

    This place was a welcome change from the usual, albeit delicious, local Mexican cuisine. We enjoyed a handful of tapas and a 3 taco plate. Our server, Mike, was courteous and friendly and was efficient with his service. Reservations are perhaps recommended; as we were leaving about 7PM I overheard staff telling guests without reservations that the wait would be 1-1.5 hours. The location is great with access to several downtown attractions.

    This was my first visit here and I was very pleased. I've been wanting to try Alma for a while and I'm sad I waited so long! At dinner our server was quite friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and menu, which was very helpful given the unique items. Everything was prepared well with great flavor combinations. We are excited to try their lunch and brunch, which I've heard from several people is very good! If you like ceviche, they have 5 kinds to choose from!
